Institutional Partners

In the last past years, Itris Automation Square has networked with a cluster of many local, national and international institutions, to develop the visibility of our industry and share best practices:

The Club AUTOMATION is an association of automation engineers, embedded software developers, production and industrial engineering managers. Its aim is to promote the usage and the development of automation and industrial information management techniques.
Several employees of Itris Automation Square are members of Club AUTOMATION. They take part in the animation of the community and share knowledge with their peers in the fields of automation and industrial control.

On November 22nd, 2011, Itris Automation Square attended a conference organized by the Club AUTOMATION (Paris). This day of information and debate focused on "Safe design applications". Denis Chalon, CTO of Itris Automation Square, co-presented with Thierry Coq (Senior Consultant for DNV) on the theme "Quality Model for Industrial Automation".
You will find their presentation here.

EDEN (European Defense Economic Networks) is the first Defense and Security Cluster, dedicated to the international development of companies in the defense sector. It includes 37 defense and security SMEs in Rhone-Alpes, and aims to strengthen their position in the highly competitive global marketplace, which is dominated by large corporations. The SMEs are highly motivated to work together to achieve international development, to set up joint R&D projects and develop economic intelligence.
Itris Automation Square leverages the EDEN cluster to offer automation software development solutions to its defense and security industry customers. It also participates in the "equipment for vehicles, aircraft and ships" group, sharing its experience with other members and developping common marketing intelligence and sales approaches.

GRILOG (Grenoble Isère Logiciel) is an association of software professionals (ISVs, service and engineering houses, R&D labs, universities) based in Grenoble. Its aim is to develop the visibility of the software industry in Grenoble, build bridges between all actors, promote software jobs.
As a member of GRILOG, Itris Automation Square is particularly active in building relationships between the software industry and local authorities. Itris Automation Square also represents Grilog within the board of the Minalogic competitiveness cluster.

The MINALOGIC global competitiveness cluster fosters research-led innovation in intelligent miniaturized products and solutions for industry. Located in Grenoble, France, the cluster channels in a single physical location a range of highly-specialized skills and resources from knowledge creation to the development and production of intelligent miniaturized services for industry.
Itris Automation Square joined Minalogic in september 2008 and is part of the MIND collaborative R&D project, working on component based software development and safety engineering applied to PLC programs. Itris Automation Square is also involved in the governance of the cluster: its director of marketing is a member of the Cercle PME (SMEs club) and thus a non-voting member of the board of directors, supporting the successful involvement of SMEs in research projects alongside large companies and universities.
