PLC Metrics

A new view of your PLC program

PLC Metrics is a free tool offered by Itris Automation Square. It automatically analyses a PLC program and computes metrics such as the number of rungs, I/Os and steps. It also determines its main characteristics: the hardware configuration, the presence of grafcet (and its steps and macros) or the presence of specific cards (communication, axis...).
PLC Metrics provides you with valuable information to help you anticipate and diagnose problems. With PLC Metrics, you always make the best decision, especially before a conversion. Based on the results of the analysis, you are able to predict the cost of the conversion and decide whether you should rewrite the program. Finally, PLC Metrics is also a very good way to re-document a program when the original documentation is no longer available.
