Itris Automation Square and SQuORING Technologies
sign a strategic partnership to provide an integrated
solution for managing software quality
Grenoble and Toulouse, France, November 23rd 2011 – Itris Automation Square (IAS), a software engineering company that provides development tools for PLCs, and SQuORING Technologies, an independent software developer in the embedded market, have signed a dual partnership agreement.
The two companies have signed a distribution and technology collaboration agreement. The partnership aims at enabling a close integration of PLC Checker (automatic analysis of PLC programs) and SQuORE (collaborative platform for measuring and monitoring software quality). This way, IAS and SQuORING provide clients with a fully integrated solution, which will on the long run manage the quality of their applications.
Through this partnership, IAS improves PLC Checker with advanced features for quality monitoring and reporting. For its part, SQuORING Technologies accelerates its growth and is now open to the PLC market which is similar to the embedded one.
This new integrated solution is already available upon request to the two companies. It was presented during the French Club AUTOMATION technical conference, on November 22nd, 2011 in Paris.

Indeed, the coupling of our products has already been used for industrial purpose by the company Det Norske Veritas, in an audit procedure to implement the SQALE quality model. Mr Patrick Artola, C.E.O. of SQuORING Technologies, continues: “By integrating our products with those of IAS, the developers of PLC programs can now benefit from the quality model approach as defined in standard ISO 9126.
